I am Daniel Bacon — an independent Interim Manager and Management Consultant based in Munich. Since 2016, I have been delivering results for clients across Telecoms, eHealth, Automotive, and Manufacturing as a freelancer, following a decade-long career at Telefónica Germany where I led teams in Controlling, Sales, and Pricing.
My work sits at the intersection of business and IT. I bridge the gap between strategic intent and operational delivery — whether that means leading a cross-border ERP implementation, managing a large-scale customer migration, or steering a product portfolio through regulatory change.
I hold an MBA and a BSc, am certified in SAFe as both Product Owner and Scrum Master, and have led teams of more than 10 people across multiple disciplines and geographies.

Defined target planning processes, integration architecture (SAP–APS via middleware), and governance structures. Managed vendor performance, scope, cost, and timeline. Delivered a structured handover to an internal successor ensuring continuity.

Coordinated the migration of all prepaid mobile customers across multiple brands to a unified target stack. Acted as Brand Coordinator for two major brands including a consolidation migration from six legacy IT source systems. Managed business readiness, product mapping, migration testing, and Go/No-Go decisions across multiple tribes.
